Privacy Policy

When you visit AdulteryFaery.com:

• Cookie preferences. If you accept analytics cookies via the consent banner, we load Google Analytics. You can decline, and you can change your mind any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
• Newsletter signup. The subscribe form sends your email address directly to Substack (teresajconway.substack.com). We do not store newsletter emails on this site.
• Contact email. If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply. We do not add it to a marketing list.

The site does not require an account, does not have a login, and does not collect names, addresses, payment information, or anything else from readers.

Behind the scenes, Teresa uses a self-hosted social media scheduling tool (Postiz) to publish content to platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, and similar services. To do that, the scheduler connects to those platforms using OAuth.

Specifically:

• The scheduler holds OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for Teresa's own social media accounts. These tokens authorize the scheduler to upload videos, post text, and read back basic post metadata on those accounts.
• For YouTube and other Google services, the scheduler accesses Google API data only for Teresa's own connected channel — to upload videos, set titles, descriptions, and thumbnails, and check upload status. It does not read viewers' Google data, and it never accesses anyone else's Google account.
• YouTube and Google data accessed via OAuth is used solely for publishing Teresa's own content. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, used to train AI models, or transferred to any third party.
• Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• OAuth tokens are stored in the scheduler's database on Teresa's infrastructure. They are not exposed to readers or visitors of this site.

If you are a reader of this site, none of this involves your personal data. The OAuth integrations only touch Teresa's own social media accounts, which she has connected on purpose.

If you accept analytics cookies, this site loads Google Analytics, which records anonymized information about your visit (pages viewed, time on page, approximate region, device type). This data is used to understand which posts people read. It is not tied to your name or email.

You can opt out at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not share your data with third-party advertisers.
• We do not use OAuth-derived data (from YouTube, Google, or any other platform) for advertising, profiling, or AI training.
• We do not run remarketing pixels.

This site relies on a small number of third parties, each with its own privacy policy:

• Netlify — hosts the website and may log standard request data (IP, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.
• Substack — handles the newsletter. If you subscribe, your email is held by Substack under their privacy policy.
• Google Analytics — loads only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's CDN.
• Substack and Medium RSS feeds — public posts are pulled into the site's "Intel" section. Reading them does not send any data back.

If you have emailed Teresa and want that email deleted, or if you have subscribed to the newsletter and want the address removed, write to teresa@theconwayagency.com. Newsletter unsubscribe is also available from any newsletter email or directly through Substack.

If you live somewhere with specific privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, etc.), you have whatever rights those laws give you with respect to data we hold about you, including access, correction, and deletion. Email Teresa to exercise them.

If this policy materially changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page changes. Substantial changes will also be flagged in the newsletter.
