But first, some background
I was messaging for an older client who asked me to send a message to a lady in his age range. I checked her out first, as I always do, to make sure the scammer signs weren’t there. She seemed ok, so I went ahead.
This was her profile —
I thought she was ok was because she’d written “just looking to have fun and should be discreet” in her profile. Most scammer’s I’ve come across don’t write anything, and on top of that, she spelled discreet properly — something only 60% of people do. Most scammers have bad English language skills.
Here’s what I sent —
For the folks listening in from home, here’s what I wrote —
Hi! A little discreet fun sounds just about like what the doctor ordered. This winter is getting old and I know I could use a change of pace. My name is [name redacted] and although I’m sure you have 50 messages waiting when you finally get to this one, let me know if you would like to chat!
It was late, and so I went to sleep after that. I don’t usually message from my phone, but he asked me nicely, so I did. I’m a pushover when it comes to love, lol. I noticed the next morning that she’d replied, so I thought, that’s promising.
I noticed that she’d viewed his profile, which is something scammers often don’t do. Another good sign, I thought.
We weren’t far into the convo before she asked me to move off-site, which is another scammer sign. Ok, I thought, let’s move her to email. If she was legit, I could then move her to the client’s favorite chat tool. I also figured because she was 70, it might be easier to do it in two steps.
When she asked, she wrote —
Do you mind we taking the conversation off here so we can get to talk more and see how things goes.
Now I was paying attention. The quick move off-site and the bad English got my attention. I was going to dump her right there, but then thought, this could be fun. So I decided to stick around and see what she had to say. I thought my readers would enjoy it as well.

I did a reverse image search after getting the first two pics and came up with her identity quickly. Her name is Tanya Tate, and she is an adult entertainer and entrepreneur from the UK. I think she’s gorge, and because of her popularity, I was able to get that picture of her ass so quickly.

Takeaway
The new scammer trends I noticed here:
- Their profile wasn’t blank. They’d filled out the “About Me” section, if only a sentence, it was more than they were doing six months ago.
- They checked out my client’s profile before starting to chat. They didn’t do that the last time I ran a new account.
The same old scammer trends I noticed here:
- A bunch of numbers in the profile name — Singlefunner1991938
- Bad English.
- A request to move off-site quickly.
- A quick money ask.
Ok, I’ll admit it, I was having fun. What I liked was his ability to stay focused on the money. Pushing me towards the big prize. The sex talk wasn’t too bad. I was wondering where he’d go with that, and I was impressed that he didn’t hesitate when he came back.
If his English wasn’t so bad, it would have been harder to detect, but it was still easy to detect the scam. Overall, these guys are likely easy to spot, but if they’re still doing it, there’s a reason. And that reason is it’s worth it, so there are men out there being scammed out of a $100 here and there. And then they’re put on sucker lists, which are sold to other fraudsters — who take another run at them.
Loneliness is tough, and I’m sure some men pay a heavy price for it.
